Was macht arbi?
"arbi" ist eine
interdisziplinäre Expertengruppe, welche auf die biotechnologische Verwertung von
organischen Abfällen und Abwässern unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Energieaspekts
spezialisiert ist.
Wir haben unterdessen über 20 Jahre Erfahrung im ökologisch und ökonomisch sinnvollen
Umgang mit Biomasse. Weil unsere Forschung und Entwicklung immer von ganzheitlicher Sicht
geprägt und immer sehr praxisbezogen war, sind wir in der Lage, Ihnen Lösungsvorschläge

"Arbeitsgemeinschaft
Bioenergie,farbi" was founded in 1984 by former
members of "Projekt Biogas", a R&D group with the scope to improve the
biogas technology for rural biogas plants. "Projekt Biogas" was located since
1978 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH, Zürich.harbi consists of an interdisciplinary team of scientists and
techniciens. After 1984, farbi specialized in the treatment of
industrial waste waters and later in the valorization of solid organic wastes produced by
industries and households.
Activities
of farbi
arbihis active in the fields of research,
development, consulting, engineering as well as in chemical and biological analyses:
arbihis doing research
in the field of composting technology, anaerobic waste water treatment, anaerobic
digestion of solid wastes as well as determination and improving of compost qualities for
different departments of the Swiss government and for industries.
arbihdevelopes
new technologies in the field of biological waste water and solid waste treatment
for its own purposes as well as for third parties.
arbi's
activities in the sector consulting reach from
laboratory scale investigations and feasibility studies for towns and communities up to
pilot scale experiments and activities in countries of the third world.
arbihis constructing plants for the
digestion and/or composting of municipal, industrial and agricultural wastes and waste
waters in the field of engineering .
arbihis capable to do all the chemical and
biological analyses necessary for its own research in
its own laboratories and growth chambers. arbi may make use of large data bases with own
compost quality data. For towns and communities, arbi determines the composition of the waste streams.
arbi
helped the Canton of Zug to find a solution
for the recycling of plastic wastes
arbihhas at its own disposal a large computer
aided library in order to find efficiently the optimal solutions for problems in
the fields of biogenic waste (-water) treatment and of bioenergy.
arbi
organizes training courses for engineers and staff of biogas plants. arbi
shares its experience with all interested third parties (see also publications)
arbi
makes Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of biogas production (see LCA of MSW treatment or LCA of agricultural
biogas)
And - last but
not least- arbi has developed software for the planning
of digestion plants (see also: http://www.biogas.ch/software.htm)
